Topic: Five Minutes to a Better Attitude Toward Action
I discovered a competitor to the Thinking Lab in Brooke Castillo's "Self Coaching Scholars" program, which got rave reviews from the person who told me about it. He said it was the best membership program he'd ever seen. So, I joined it--partly to get ideas for how to improve the Thinking Lab, partly to get coaching for myself, and partly to see how the heck she justifies the price tag, which is 4x the cost of regular membership in the Thinking Lab!
In this class, I will share her "Self-Coaching Model," which is a 3-step process that takes about 5 minutes. You use it to spur yourself to achieve your goals. In the middle of it, you see how your attitude is affecting your results. At the end, you have a new attitude. Quite impressive!
Of interest to Thinking Lab members: she adds one little step to OFNR which I haven't seen anywhere else, which makes this a reliable, easy-to-implement process. As usual, though I got the technique from her, the explanation for why it is so effective is my own.
